Born into a renowned musical family in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, Ratnesh Dubey inherits a rich musical heritage, particularly through his maternal grandfather, Pt. Mukund Kumar Tripathi Ji. From a very young age, Ratnesh exhibited an innate passion for raaga-based Indian music, known for its depth and purity.
His musical journey began under the loving guidance of his father, Shri Mahesh Dubey, and his uncle, Shri Sohan Dubey, both of whom provided him with initial training and instilled in him a deep appreciation for the nuances of classical music. Additionally, Ratnesh's first formal guru was the revered Padmashri Pt. Madan Chauhan Ji, whose mentorship played a pivotal role in shaping his musical style and understanding.
Growing up surrounded by the rich cultural milieu of Raipur and his family's musical legacy, Ratnesh Dubey immersed himself in the practice and study of raagas, exploring their intricate melodies and emotional depths.
